Coaching and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) are approaches that allow time and space to explore areas that you might have been finding difficult, and help you to work though them, explore your options and come up with a plan that feels right for you. There are many different coaching strategies, tools and techniques that can help with this and can help you to work towards bringing about the changes you want.

About me

Doctor, coach, NLP Master Practitioner, author, aspirational poet

Having worked for 20 years as a palliative care doctor caring for patients with life-limiting conditions, I have spent a lot of time actively listening to others, being empathic, and talking with people and families about what's important to them in terms of their personal goals.

​

I now use these skills in a coaching capacity. I was inspired to train as a Coach and NLP Master Practitioner after seeing and experiencing the profound positive changes that can be easily and quickly achieved through both.

​

I love helping others to find their way through tough times and to move on to live more positive, fulfilling lives.

Make a Difference

If you are feeling stuck in a negative place with your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours; or struggling with a difficult situation/colleague at work; or frustrated with other aspects of life, and you would like things to change, then Coaching can help.

Using Coaching and NLP, I will work with you to identify how you would ike things to be instead, explore your options, and help you plan your way forward to ultimately achieve your own goals. I can equip you with strategies to help you cope with the stresses and strains of life, and help you feel more positive about the future.

As well as 1-to-1 consultations, I offer small group workshops for schools and colleges and team building sessions. Please see below for more details.

Life Coaching Session

Through 1-to-1 coaching, we can explore what's happening for you in your current situation, identify what you would like to change, and come up with options to find the best way forward. 

 

Typical issues might include:

  • feeling ‘stuck’ at work / generally

  • difficult work / school / home relationships

  • dealing with uncertainty

  • dealing with anxiety / stress

  • low self confidence / self esteem

  • fatigue / poor sleep

  • phobias

Career Coaching Session

Are you unsure about your career path or stuck with a project at work? Does your to-do list keep growing? Do you have colleagues who you struggle with? Are you feeling burnt out and need a change? Together we can talk things through and explore what would help you to feel more fulfilled personally and professionally.

Bespoke 3x half-day training

This is for anyone feeling ‘stuck’ and wanting things to change. People may feel ‘stuck’ for different reasons, such as stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, low mood or fatigue. 


The training is based on NLP techniques (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). I will provide you with tools for you to use to stop your unwanted thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours, and instead teach you to be able to access more positive states such as calm, confidence, motivation, happiness and energy.

This is suitable for anyone age 11+.

​

The 3x half days last 3 hours each and are on consecutive days.

NLP teaching or workshops for schools (age 11+) and colleges

I offer small group work (ideally max 8 pupils) teaching teenagers techniques to remain calm under pressure, to deal with feeling overwhelmed, to increase their confidence and to be positive in their approach to life. Examples of workshops running weekly through a half-term might include: 

 

  • Staying in control

  • Dealing with stress

  • Confidence building

  • Staying positive

  • Goal setting

  • Conflict resolution

I can be flexible with this service, and will happily work with larger groups too, so if you are interested for your school or college, please get in touch to discuss.

These important life skills will help through school, further education and beyond.
